Metal Gear Help?

I am talking about the original metal gear that comes with metal gear solid 3:Substance

I am at the second building after the desert and I am at the part with the 4 or 5 screens of underwater swimming ( which nearly kills me) after that there is an electric floor with 2 doors, the door on the left opens and I think gives ammo but the other wont open.
