How does the lifetime warranty work on Calphalon pans?
I have several Calphalon Contemporary pans that are starting to lose their non-stick coating. I have had them for almost three years now. Has anyone gotten new pans through the warranty? Is it a painful process? I am pretty sure that I did not fill out the product registration either...will that hurt me as well? Is is worth going through? I don't exactly have $400 laying around to get a new set...
You could try bringing them back to the place you purchased the pans. (I used to work part time at Bed Bath and Beyond, it seemed to me they took almost everything back.) I wonder though if the warranty covers the non-stick surface. They may say that you used the wrong utensils on it thereby voiding the warranty.
Check the Calphalon website there may be more information there as to what is covered.
